Not good, but still better than the others from what I

:
Does it's job, but there's lots of room for improvement here; a sad testament to the state of these kinds of applications that are available. Given the issues I've experienced with it, $3 doesn't seem justified. I did a lot of research on these kinds of apps before purchasing this one (reading reviews, looking at free versions, etc.) and this one seemed to do the best at providing the basic functionality I need from this kind of an app.

Pros:
1) The only meds reminder app I could find on the App Store that uses push notifications to provide on-time reminders that you can schedule.

2) Does indeed use push notifications and is prompt and timely. Allows you to "snooze" the reminder and have it come up again later at an interval you specify.

Cons:
1) No volume control. Does not respect the current setting of the volume toggle and ALWAYS plays the reminder chime at 100% volume. There is no way to change the chime either.

2) Reminders are inconsistent. When you enter in a recurring schedule, for example 2x/day, the first reminder is always done as a group, with a single button to indicated "taken", "skipped", or "snooze" for the reminder. However, subsequent reminders are always presented individually by medication so you must press the "taken" etc. button repeatedly for each medication, instead of being able to just do it once as a group. There is no way to change this behavior so it is consistent one way or the other.

3) Always contacts a server in conjunction with the reminders. This seems to be necessary for the reminders, but if the app is using the built in push notification system of the iPhone's OS, why does it need to contact a server? I don't like not knowing what it's doing with the information about my medications when it connects to some unknown server.

I'll happily revise my rating to four or five stars if these bugs are squashed in an update, especially the seeming reliance on some external server somewhere to deal with the reminders. I'm going to keep using this for now, but only until I can find something that provides this same functionality, but doesn't have to access some mysterious server somewhere.

deceptive

:
Website has comparisons in bright RED & GREEN.
Limit of 5 meds was in grey that was almost the same color as the background.
Feel like I blew $2.99 for nothing. You need the $14.99 program for it to be useful.
$14.99 is crazy expensive for this type product. Got water depths GPS for the whole NorthEast for only $9.99

RIPOFF!

Alarm

:
The alarm you set to take medications foes not alert you or go off unless you open the app.
